How to Make Whole Wheat Bread at Home?


2 pkgs dry yeast

4Cups warm water

1/2 cup soft- margarine or butter

1/2cup honey

2tsp salt

6 cups wheat flour

4 cups white flour


1/4 cup molasses


1. Dissolve yeast in Warm water.

 2. Combine margarine, molasses, honey, and salt and mix well. Add yeast mixture.  Gradually add flour. Turn onto floured surface and knead- until smooth.  Place in greased bowl and let rise until double.

3.Punch down. Let dough rest a few minutes. Shape into 4 loaves. Place in greased bread pans. Let rise about 1 hour. Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes
